Evanston Public Library
Jess Ticus currently works both as a Consultant and with the Evanston Public Library as a Development Officer, successfully implementing fundraising strategies to increase dollars and donors for the municipal library. In her consulting role, Jess provides development expertise to a variety of clients, such as DePaul University's Asylum and Immigration Law Clinic, Global Spine Outreach, Academy for Academic Success, and Casa Central. Prior to her current roles, Jess was the Executive Director for the Annual Giving department for Northwestern University. During her tenure, support for undergraduate schools increased by 25% to $12.5 million per year. During her time at NU she also revitalized the reunion program and with her team increased the fundraising results from $10 million to $32 million.
Jess' work history includes a variety of positions in development, including leadership positions at organizations such as Chicago Botanical Gardens and Lurie Children's Hospital. She brings valuable expertise to YJC in this area.
Jess and her husband are Evanstonians with two grown children.
