Background:
The Evanston Workforce Alliance is a group of organizations that are working toward sustainable change in our community’s workforce development agencies, and embed collaboration and alignment in outreach, training, placement, data collection and sharing results for citizens of Evanston. Our goal is a seamless coordination of workforce development for Evanston residents. Together, we can change HOW we work so all community citizens have opportunity to move into meaningful and living-wage careers.

Description of the Project:

 The selected firm will be responsible for the development and implementation of the Project described below:

  • Define and map workforce development assets relevant to Evanston

  • Conduct a SWOT analysis of those assets

  • Develop a matrix of those assets incorporating SWOT analysis

  • Defining a living wage in Evanston and comparing to surrounding area Identify shared metrics we will all collect and report in the same way

  • Develop action plan for moving forward

Respondents to this RFP must submit one or original; copy of their proposal by email to Neil Gambow at neilnexnine@gmail.com.
Responses must be received by July 31, 2019.

 

Elements of Proposal:

A submission must include:

  • Description of the firm that includes general overview, names and credentials of principals, and the number of employees.

  • A one-page narrative outlining the firm’s strengths and distinguishing skills and capabilities of the firm and its principals.

  • A selection of past projects that indicates the qualifications of the firm and individuals to provide the scope of services indicated in the Project description.

  • The expertise of the firm in working with similar projects.
