Jaden is a highly motivated 22-year old who was referred to YJC through our partnership with Chicago CRED. Jaden knew he wanted to pursue a career where he could work with his hands and that our Automotive 101 program with Olive-Harvey College was perfect for him! When classes began, Jaden dove right into the work.

Jaden has excellent communication skills and asked tons of great questions that allowed him to fully understand the automotive field and help him excel in his future work. 

In addition, Jaden made sure he arrived to every class on time. Jaden completed his training program and received his automotive certification. After completing the program, Jaden transitioned into a 10-week paid work experience with Ridge Auto Service, where he could take the knowledge he learned in the classroom and apply it to real-world situations.

Jaden’s Career Advisor shares that watching him grow into the man he is destined to be was exhilarating. Keep up the great work, and you will be working full-time in the Auto Field in no time!
