Join our free culinary arts and hospitality training program!
This eight-week training program uses hands-on learning to teach you the basics of the culinary industry and set you up for success in your future culinary career. Any necessary books or equipment will be provided for you.
Once you successfully complete the program, you’ll earn a state-recognized ServSafe certification as well as a monetary completion bonus, and your YJC support team will help guide you in your next steps—whether you want to complete an internship, pursue further training, or jump right into a full-time job.
Requirements for enrolling:
Must be between 18-24 years old
Currently out-of-school
Legally eligible to work in the United States
What you’ll get:
A state-recognized ServSafe certification
Structured professional training, providing you with a foundation in kitchen safety, sanitation, and culinary techniques
Books and equipment provided free of charge
A paid internship with a local restaurant, if eligible
