Youth Job Center Welcomes Lucretzia M. Jamison as our next Executive Director

Youth Job Center’s (YJC) Board of Directors is excited to share that Lucretzia M. Jamison has been selected as the agency’s next Executive Director. Ms. Jamison will assume her new role in May 2022, and we are grateful for the passion and experience she brings to this role.  

Ms. Jamison is currently the Dean of the Dawson Technical Institute (DTI), part of the Kennedy King College, City Colleges of Chicago. She brings a 22-year career in nonprofits, government, and higher education and she is passionate about bringing youth and young adults into the workforce.  

Ms. Jamison has exceptional experience that positions her for success at YJC. Prior to City Colleges, she served as the Executive Director, Chicago Campus, for the Center for Employment Training; the Director of Workforce Funding for the City of Chicago (DFSS) where she became very familiar with distributing Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) funds, a vital part of YJC’s service delivery.  

Ms. Jamison holds a Master’s in Business Administration from DeVry University's Keller Graduate School of Management, a Bachelor of Applied Science from Northern Illinois University and has a Customer Experience Management certification from DeVry University's Keller Graduate School of Management.
