Employed since: January 2016

Aaron is currently a senior at Gage Park High School and will be graduating in June. Aaron has a 3.0 GPA and is a member of the J.R.O.T.C team at Gage Park. After graduating high school, Aaron will be joining the United States Army as an Infantry Man. Aaron met with YJC's Career Advisor at the Gage Park High School and was referred to Pete’s Fresh Market based on his excellent communication, problem solving skills, positive attitude, and attention to detail. After completing a mock interview session with his Career Adviser, Aaron interviewed at Pete’s on January 15 and was hired on the spot. He began training the following week.

As a deli clerk at Pete’s Market, Aaron provides excellent customer service, including greeting and responding to questions; operating cash registers, meat and cheese slicers, oven, fryer, microwave, cutting tools, scale, and other deli equipment; and maintaining high standards for product freshness and sanitation. Aaron has learned to speak some Spanish since working at Pete’s in order to better communicate with customers who only speak the Spanish language.

Once finished with his military duties, Aaron plans to pursue a degree in history and become a History Professor.
