What are Career Pathways?
Career Pathways are a way to launch a career in a technical or vocational trade. Through structured training, young adults could be on their way to a good-paying job in three months to one year. YJC clients will receive free uniforms and tools, transportation assistance, one-on-one career advising and financial coaching, an $8,000 tuition voucher for approved training programs, and more!
In Chicago, there are many short-term training programs that open the door to exciting career paths.
Earn more money, sooner as all programs are 2 years or less – often much less! Many programs are reduced cost, free, or even offer paid training.
Explore high-growth career fields in tech, healthcare, retail, culinary, and many other areas through hands-on training.
Participate in a paid work experience/internship to learn valuable skills needed on the job.
YJC now offers in-house training programs in Automotive Maintenance and Technology, Culinary, Information Technology (I.T.) and Healthcare!
