On Thursday September 19th, 2019 Youth Job Center will host its Annual Meeting of the Board of Directors. The meeting will take place from 6:30PM - 8:30PM at Hardin Hall at the Rebecca Crown Center, located at 633 North Clark Street in Evanston, IL, and is free to attend. This meeting is open to the public and Youth Job Center invites and encourages anyone who is interested in learning more about Youth Job Center to attend. Attendees will be able to learn how YJC’s Board of Directors operates and will have the opportunity to discuss the agency with Board Members. At the board meeting, YJC’s Board of Director’s will:
Review and vote on potential board member candidates
Vote in new officers and renew board members
Review the board contact list
Renew Board Members’ Good Faith Pledge
Review YJC programs, financials, and communication activities.
Review progress on Youth Job Center’s Strategic Plan
Potential topics for discussion include:
Long-term development planning
Costs & Benefits of Programs
Ongoing Board Development
Event and Cultivation strategies
Staff & Board retention
Financial considerations – endowment, planned giving
