What do you like most about your job?
I love mission-driven fundraising! The mission at YJC ignites a passion in me that I want to share with others.

Where did you work before this?
I worked at The Chicago Academy for the Arts in Development, and Lifeline Theatre as their Box Office Manger.

What was your first job?
Detasseling corn (I started at 12!)

What did you learn at your first job?
Hand pulling corn tassels in the sweltering summer heat taught me the value of manual labor and the skill and grit it takes. I will forever hold a deep respect for our farmers and agricultural specialists. I also got to work with people of all different ages and backgrounds which was really fun!

Has your career path gone the way you expected?
Absolutely not. My career dreams ranged from ballerina to music teacher to professional actress. However, I have always been passionate about mission-driven work and making a positive impact in my community, so I am not surprised my career ended up here.

Fun fact:
I collect nail polish and do my own nails! I own over 250 bottles of nail polish.
