What do you like about your job?
I love that I have an opportunity to support young people with a pivotal stage in their lives and development: deciding upon their career path and finding meaningful work.

Where did you work before YJC?
I was a career and education coach at Chicago Commons.

What was your first job?
I was a kiddie pool life lifeguard.

What did you learn from your first job?
I learned how to wake up early to get to work (it was a summer job when I would have otherwise been playing with my friends) and how to manage my money.

Has your career path gone how you expected?
For the most part, yes...I knew that I wanted to work in community development and have done so thus far.  

Fun fact:
I am an avid crafter/creator.  If there are supplies for it at Michaels or Hobby Lobby, I most likely have them in my house. I am constantly looking for ways to grow my creative muscles...
