What do you like about your job?

I can help create a very effective organization, which allows us to impact as many people as possible. The more strategic our organization can be - the more effective our program staff can be at implementation. 

 Where did you work before YJC?

Spectrum Nonprofit Services as a nonprofit management consultant for 9 years, focusing on nonprofit strategy, finance, and operations. 

 What was your first job?

Outside of being the child of a small business owner, I worked at a local golf course. I mowed greens, fairways, and general golf course maintenance. 

 What did you learn from your first job?

So many lessons as a teenager, but one that has stuck with me is that "The quickest way to complete a task is not always the best way." And play as much free golf as possible. 

 Has your career path gone how you expected?

For the most part, yes! I have undergraduate and graduate degrees focused on Public and Nonprofit Administration. 

 Fun Fact

I still hold my high school track record in the 300 hurdles.
